How do I restart MySQL on my VDS?
There are two ways to restart MySQL in your VDS:

From the command line, run this command:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld restart
NOTE: Accounts created before July 7th, 2003 will need to use:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql restart
Or, through your control panel, you can restart the VDS. In your control panel, navigate to:

Site management » Settings » Restart VDS

This option will restart all VDS services.
