How can I protect my Majordomo list from spam?
Majordomo is a widely used web application and the commands for manipulating the lists and subscribers are well documented and very easy for spammers to utilize. The best protection for your lists is to specify CLOSED for GET_ACCESS and WHO_ACCESS. Also, choose a password that is a bit more sophisticated than "admin". You can also modify the config file to specify:
welcome = noThis helps to prevent spammers from detecting that an email address is, in fact, a majordomo list.
