There are two things that you need to do to allow a seperate user to have their own seperate web space.
First, create a user and point his/her directory to "/your/path/to/your/files". You can do this by logging into the control panel, clicking on the "Email/FTP" button in the menu on the left, and clicking the "New Email/FTP" button in the center of the page. Then change the Home Directory from "/ftp/pub/username" to "/your/path/to/your/files" (without quotes). Second, create a script alias that points to this directory. You can do this by clicking on the "Domain Settings" button in the menu on the left (if logged into your control panel), clicking the "Web Aliases" Tab near the top of the page, clicking on the domain that you want to add this alias to (if it is not your original alias), and clicking the "New Alias" button near the center of the page. Leave the Alias option checked, place /~username in the URL Path textbox and "/your/path/to/your/files" (without quotes) in the Absolute Path name text box. If you are doing this for a domain other than your original domain, you must add this alias for both domains (yourdomain.com AND www.yourdomain.com). Now your user can see this user's files by going to http://www.yourdomain.com/~username
